Sankat mochan Yojana - National Family support Scheme
Kutumb Sahay (Kutumb Sahay) Yojana: The main breadwinner in Gujarat should be a family member whose income is a major part of the total income of the family.The breadwinner must be over 18 years of age and under 60 years of age.
A woman from a house-building family is also considered a 'breadwinner' under the scheme.The family of the deceased will qualify as a family living below the poverty line.
The main benefits of NFBS are financial assistance for dependent beneficiaries.While emotional damage or mental anguish cannot be replaced by anything, financial assistance can make life easier for the family of the deceased, especially those living below the poverty line.

National Family Assistance Scheme - Relief (NFBS):
(A) Eligibility Criteria:
1. The family should be on the BPL list
2. Natural or accidental death of the main breadwinner of the family
3. The age of the deceased male or female should be more than 18 years and less than 60 years
Application.
4.Must apply within 2 years after death
(B) Benefit: Rs. 20,000 / - per family.

2.Apply to the concerned Taluka Mamlatdar.
Taluka Mandals are authorized to approve or deny assistance under this scheme.In case the application is denied, an appeal can be lodged with the Province Officer within 60 days.
