Program to accelerate rooftop solar oriented ventures in Vadodara, Surat, Mehsana, Rajkot and Bhavnagar in other five urban areas of Gujarat

1.1 About the program:

Following the achievement of Gandhinagar Solar Rooftop Solar PV Project, 2011, the Government of Gujarat (GOG) has chosen to reproduce rooftop solar PV activity in five significant urban areas of the state by creating a comparative pilot project, viz.

1.Vadodara

2.Rajkot

3.Mehsana

4.Bhavnagar

5.Surat

The undertaking will use the same model as in Gandhinagar, for example, the PPP based model which assists the installation of the roof through roof interests.

Projects by private people.

The selection of private roof project designers will be made by serious interaction.

Engineers will be forced to rent a house for a considerable amount of time from a private, private, professional, like a mechanical roofing proprietor.

Private roofing proprietors will be welcomed to participate in the program, and private undertaking engineers will generate income by renting out their in-house apartments.

The benefits of renting a roof are known as green inspiration.

This is a lattice-related program, in which a sunlight-based photovoltaic (SPV) framework will be configured on the roof and associated with a power matrix.Under this venture, the Government of Gujarat aims to set up PV installations in five urban areas in Gujarat at approximately 5 MW (for example 2000 KW) on various types of housing ops, as shown in Table 1 below.

The Government of Gujarat has decided to set up an SPV at the top of the structure. Will select engineers to set up the structure (building includes private, mechanical, business like government / public houses).

The selected project designer (RO) will deal with the maintenance and activity of the SPV settings.

Task designers will go into a green inspiration agreement with landowners whose cells will be used for the SPV structure.

The roof proprietor will be affected by the green promotion.
