The year 2021 begins with the good news of the covid vaccine.

Covishield and covacin vaccines have been approved.The CoWIN application has been launched by the Union Ministry of Health to deliver the vaccine to the people.

This application will help in real-time monitoring of vaccine delivery.The government will be able to protect the data of vaccinated people through the app.

Vaccination will be done after registration on this application.

However, the app is currently not available on the Google Play Store and Apple Plus App

Store.According to some reports, the build of this application is not yet complete.

What is the Covin app?

Covin (Covid-19 Vaccine Intelligence Network) is an upgraded version of EVN (Electronic Vaccine Intelligence Network).Once the app is complete, it will be available for free on the Play Store and App Store.The Ministry of Health has clarified that corona vaccination will be done in p stage.The vaccine will be given to frontline professionals in the first phase, people involved in emergency services in the second phase and people with serious conditions in the third phase.

Registration process on the CoWIN application

▶Vaccination requires registration on the application.However, the application is not currently available for installation.

▶According to media reports, the registration process will be as follows.

▶A photo and ID will be required for self-registration on Covin's official website.

▶Water ID, Aadhaar card, driving license, passport and pension document can be used in the ID.

▶Mobile number has to be submitted during registration.

The date, time and place of ▶vaccination will be announced via SMS upon registration.

5 modules of Covin

The vaccination process from this application will work on the platform for administrative activities, vaccination staff and all others who get vaccinated.

These include administrative module, registration module, vaccination module, beneficiary acceptance module and report module.Administrative Module: Those who will manage the vaccination event.They will determine the session through this module.It will inform vaccinators and providers through instructions.

Registration Module: This module is for those who are enrolled in the vaccination program.

Vaccination module: will check the information of those who have registered for vaccination and also provide status update

Beneficial Acceptance Module: It will send a message to the vaccine recipient.

It will also create a QR code and people will also get an e-certificate of vaccine.Report Module: The report of the vaccination program will be prepared by him.

Such as how many vaccination sessions were held, how many people were vaccinated, how many people registered but not vaccinated etc.
