-Dr. Madhukar Padvi was appointed by the State Government as the first Chancellor of Shri Birsa Munda Tribal University. He is currently serving as a Professor at Shji Arts College, Surat.
The new university has been set up by the state government on April 1, 2018 at Rajpipla in Narmada district.
