The grand finale of the hackathon is happening online this year
Competition among 10 thousand students for solving 243 national problems

New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the bottom finale of the Smart India Hackathon by video conference tonight at 4.30 pm. He also will ask students.

The hackathon is seeing a surge of innovation and excellence.

Modi said that Smart India Hackathon has emerged as an exquisite platform for imagination and innovation. Currently, our youth is that specialize on the planet after Corona. At an equivalent time, they're moving on the trail of creating the country self-reliant.

What is Smart India Hackathon?

It is an initiative to supply a platform for college kids across the country to beat the difficulties encountered in lifestyleit's to try to to with the culture of product innovation and therefore the idea of problem-solving. The government says the hackathon has succeeded in promoting the thought of doing something new among the youth.

The first edition of the Smart India Hackathon was held in 2017. during which 42 thousand students participated. This number has reached 1 lakh in 2018 and a couple of lakh in 2019. quite 4.5 lakh students have joined the primary round this year. At this point, the bottom finale is happening online.

during which there's a contest among quite 10 thousand students to unravel 243 problems. These problems are linked to 37 central departments, 17 state governments, and 20 industries.
